JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Oaks, PA, 25 miles northwest of Philadelphia, near King of Prussia

The Senior QA Lead’s overall responsibilities include, although are not limited to:



  • Ensuring the quality, reliability and completeness of software developed via the application of standard SQA practices.

  • Overseeing the planning and development of software test plans

  • Organizing and prioritizing the testing activities for new and existing releases

  • Assess impact of new functionality on testing efforts.

  • Coordinate with QA members the prioritization of the testing efforts and cross – track dependencies.

  • Define, implement and/or lead process improvements that will expand overall efficiency and software quality.


Requirements:


  • At least 6 years experience in a Quality Assurance role and 3 years experience in a Software Testing role.

  • Extensive knowledge in some or all of the following areas within the context of a global environment:


    • General Securities Processing

    • Trade Execution and Settlement Process

    • Basic Portfolio Management Principles

    • Taxlot Processing and Portfolio Accounting

    • Asset Management

    • Swift Messaging

    • Custodial Safekeeping



  • Proven experience and understanding of all phases of the development lifecycle

  • Ability to work in a highly integrated, iterative development model which emphasizes speed and proactive decision making

  • Microsoft Server Tools: Query Analyzer and Enterprise Manager

  • QA experience in Web Applications

  • Strong understanding of various entity’s role within the financial sector a huge plus.(Ex Custodian, Cash Agent, Brokers, etc.)
