Software Engineer

Metro-Boston firm is currently seeking to fill Software Engineer roles. MUST have 3-5 years of experience in a Financial Services, Investment or Hedge Fund environment and a bachelor’s degree. The Software Engineer will: 

• Work on very complex financials and trading applications


• Work with a team of very technically savvy developers and managers


• Build new applications and maintaining existing applications

Candidates must have the following qualifications for consideration: 

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably from a top tier university


• 3-5 years of experience in a financial services, investment or hedge fund environment


• Technical: Working experience in technologies including Java/J2EE, Oracle,  
  Spring Framework, Struts, Hibernate, SOA, XML, JMS, etc.


• Technical proficiency with SQL Server and Linux


• Working on Financial Applications or Trading Applications is preferred


• Working knowledge of HTML and XML, Web Services is preferred.


• Experience in Systems Development Life Cycle is preferred
