Oracle DBA / PL / SQL / Elite Electronic Trading / ...

Our client, a NYC based leader in electronic trading is seeking a talented Oracle professional to join their elite team. This person will act in a hybrid role of DBA work as well as some PL/SQL development. Duties will include administering and  maintaining  the database, but also resolve performance issues, capacity issues, replication , etc.Additionally this role will involve SQL and PL/SQL development and tuning. Will also perform some scripting (Unix) duties. 

Necessary skills include: ·        

3-6 years Oracle ( including some 10g or 11g) DBA experience 

Strong SQL and PL/SQL development experience·    

Shell Scripting (Unix)·  

Oracle DBA certification would be a huge plus· 

Comp Sci degree·        

Any system administration experience is a plus
