Oracle Database Engineer

Our customer is looking for a mid level Oracle database developer/ engineer who has experience with online transaction processing ( OLTP) or exposure and experience with an Oracle Datawarehouse. This position is ideal for someone who has worked in a fast paced environment. Local Portland candidates only.

Skills Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

- 2-3 yrs industry experience as a database developer with OLTP  or data warehouse environments

- Experience with reporting tools, SQL, Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts,  UNIX, PL/SQL, XML    

- Experience with Oracle Analytic functions 

- Experience with Oracle  required 

- Experience as Oracle DBA a plus 

- Experience with PostgreSQL a plus

- Experience with development languages like JAVA or perl a plus

- Understand of basic data modeling concepts 

- Thorough; meticulous; dedication to quality; customer-focused.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate, reports on time

- Full product lifecycle from product specification through deployment and support.  

- Experience with source code control 

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, small company environment.

- Self-motivated, takes ownership/responsibility, hungry for success.

- Demonstrated creativity, problem solving skills.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a team as well as independently.
