Description

Participates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities, to include OS technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities. Responsible for components of complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities. Assists in establishment of input/output processes and working parameters for hardware compatibility and coordination of subsystems design and integration of total system. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Provides input on staffing, budget and personnel. Typically 5 or more years of systems engineering experience. 

Qualifications
Required Skills:



Very Strong Java/JEE, Experience with high volume transactional environments, Strong Object Oriented Design experience, Experience with Spring and AOP, Java Web Service Development (preferably Axis or Axis2), WSDL/SOAP, XML, Eclipse, Ant, Maven, JBoss 4.x, JMS, Experience with branching in at least one SCM tool (Perforce, SVN, ClearCase, etc.), Unix/Linux knowledge, Some Oracle exposure.

5-7 years experience in enterprise application development with a focus on systems integration experience, vendor management components and deployments.

Experience in the delivering of large scale, complex enterprise technology projects. High volume transaction processing system experience a must. Experience with Payment Sytems and Payment technology desired.

Ability to manage deliverables and communicate risks and work in an integrated team. Strong experience working with integrated tools and approaches. Also possess strong abilities to discern weak points in complex systems and recommend improvements



Previous Bank of America Technical Development experience.
