VP of IT

We are an established player in the wholesale distribution industry to major retailers. Currently we are seeking an insightful VP of IT to work hand-in-hand with senior leadership, provide technological guidance and strategic direction to business decisions. 

The VP of IT will also:

• Oversee all information and transaction processing systems activities including systems design, programming and procedures and operation of computer related equipment.


• Clearly exhibit through multiple examples, a proven ability to develop and lead teams in successful execution of strategic projects.


• Drive process improvement.


• Set strategic direction and develop a culture of ownership and accountability.


• Leadership responsibility for a staff of 30, plan and provide continuity and succession for all IT management.


• Build and maintain strategic business partnerships and identify appropriate technology for business-driven information systems initiatives, and produce technology-driven initiatives to further facilitate business objectives.

Candidates must also have:  

• Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred.  Experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), sales force automation (SFA), and e-business systems required. 


• A minimum of ten (10) years experience in information technology, with at least five (5) in senior leadership.


• Proven leadership skills and experience managing managers and project work.


• Previous responsibility for various IT disciplines to include development, networking, and project management, hardware and software.
