JOB DESCRIPTION

Company Size: 82 Locations Revenue: $125MM  IT Staff: 9 FTE


 


Responsible for developing, implementing and managing company wide information systems and software development.  Must be adept and effective in evaluating business requirements and leading the organization with information management solutions that support and create best practices. Works directly with all levels of management, staff, and users to help grow the organization.


Skilled in developing strategic direction, operational support, and project planning and execution. Ensures that the Company has a core team of talented IT professionals that offer best in class solutions and practices. This is a significant role where you will develop and promote the strategic and operational plans of the Company and provide leadership to meet evolving needs.
Candidate will direct implementation and IT operations teams, provide infrastructure design, perform evaluation and implement new technologies & products. Candidate is a key part of a team and must have solid verbal and written communication, organizational and presentation skills.


Responsibilities:


-       Maintain and direct a strong, general IT environment responsive to all aspects of user needs and technology


-       Develop and maintain the strategic road map for ensuring the information management and technology capabilities continually support the organization and can scale quickly with changing business demands


-       Oversee design, development and implementation of IT applications in a fast paced, dynamic environment


-       Responsible for improving IT operational efficiencies and excellence, while controlling costs


-       Responsible for IT staff development and training to ensure department meets current and future needs


-       Work effectively with all levels of management and staff to position the company for future growth and enhanced services


-       Create and implement sound internal controls and best practices for all IT services


-       Responsible for IT infrastructure and network design and reliability


-       Responsible for IT business continuity and disaster recovery


-       Responsible for maintaining control and security of all aspects of IT services and information management requirements


-       Responsible for IT Operations, IT Training and Technical Services team supervision and training


-       A strong understanding of Security and Risk


-       Work with COO and CFO to manage overall IT capital and expense budget


 


 


Position Requirements:


-       Experience in integrating third party and existing software


-       Experience working with enterprise storage and understanding of SAN layouts, various RAID types & Volume Management.


-       Virtualization and clustering experience & methodology


-       Communication network (voice and data ) experience & methodology


Education/Experience:


-       This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, or similar major


-       At least 10 years information management experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility


-      Strong business background


-      Medical/Dental Systems Experience a plus
