The company seeks key development personnel to manage, in a hands-on fashion, its client delivery and solution development. These resources are responsible for design, prototyping, implementing, testing, and deploying customized applications in the financial services sector. Some of the applications center on advanced collaborative environments and others include various front-office and risk/margin applications for cash/derivatives markets across a variety of asset classes.

General Experience:

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing trading systems based on a service-oriented architecture


• Detailed knowledge building middle tiers of real-time, interactive server-side applications


• Experience designing and implementing front-end asynchronous applications with a focus on fault tolerance and real-time responsiveness


• Exposure to capital markets trading with detailed understanding of workflows, products and pricing conventions


• Experience working with traders, sales, and other business users as well as external clients to define requirements and review prototypes


• Proven track record of implementing quality solutions under time pressure


• Strong commitment to and understanding of software quality processes appropriate for high-availability, mission-critical systems


• Experience working on a geographically distributed team is a plus

Technical Experience:

• 10-15 years of experience with large-scale system design and development experience; Big Bank and Trading Firm Development a plus


• C++ - Windows or UNIX - COM a plus


• Management of code development - Java or .Net


• Microsoft experience using Exchange, SQL Server, Server (AD/MSMQ/Virtualization), OCS, etc .


• Microsoft certifications a plus
