Our privately-held client is seeking a Senior 3D Shader Compiler Engineer to develop high-performance, optimizing shader compiler code for upcoming graphics processors. In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Architecting and developing feature additions to an existing shader compiler for future shader languages
- Responsible for backend code emitter work for optimizing the target code for size and speed
- Responsible for the optimization of the compiler itself for high-performance
Qualifications
You should possess a minimum of a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Additional qualifications include:
- At least 7 years professional experience in software development
- At least three years experience in 3D shader compiler development
- At least five years professional experience with C++
- Excellent planning, organization, presentation, and communication skills
The following qualifications would be added advantages:
- Strong knowledge of Intel x86 Architecture
- Familiarity with modern GPU architectures
- Experience with x86 assembly language programming
- Experience with Microsft* DirectX* or OpenGL* driver development
- Experience in OCL development
- Experience in workstation requirements and applications

- Experience in MAC OS*
