Senior Cisco Network Engineer (39662)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities:   Seeking a senior network engineer for a global networking project.  In this role, your responsibilities could include, but are not be limited to:

• Responsible for performing design-level reviews, developing and implementing technical designs for WAN and LAN architectures, and evaluating and implementing security measures. 
• Developing standardized processes and configurations for management of the network, design and development of test environments and labs, and participation on interdisciplinary teams within the project. 

Required Qualifications:    1. 4 year technical degree. 2. Must be a US Citizen and qualify for a Department of Defense Secret Clearance. 3. Minimum 12-15 years experience in IT. 4. Experience with Cisco WAN design, implementation and troubleshooting required. 5. Must have a Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification. 6. Must have experience with complex global VPN architectures. 7. Experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols required. 8. Must have knowledge of PIX firewalls and firewall modules. 9. Knowledge of LAN design, implementation and troubleshooting required. 10. Experience with enterprise network management tools required. 11. Experience with network IOS upgrades across a global WAN required. 12. Highly experienced, self-motivated and possesses both excellent communications skills and a strong a technical knowledge. 13. Travel domestically and internationally may be required.   Desired Qualifications:   1. Experience with TBD Networks VPN management software. 2. Cisco CCSP certification. 3. Experience with DISA STIG security procedures. 4. Experience with policy based routing. 5. Experience designing inline network IDS/IPS solutions. 6. Experience with hardware load balancers. 7. Knowledge of DNS, HTTP, and SMTP protocols.
