The successful candidate is someone whose experience is consumer-focused Web services/software and they would have experience building/running large, complex Web backend systems. Someone who can (and wants to be) very hands-on, who loves to get their hands dirty and build stuff - writing and reviewing code. Initially, they will be focused on infrastructure/architecture strategy, high-level tech requirements, staffing/equipment.
