This candidate must be capable of understanding, evaluating, and developing advanced communications systems engineering technologies. The areas of responsibility will primarily be in analysis and simulation, but knowledge of practical limitations is also necessary. Must be capable of managing and mentoring less experienced co-workers on various communications and signal-processing projects within the department, as well as the sub-division. Must be able to represent the department and sub-division with technical presentations, project a professional image, oversee existing projects.
