The Director of IT is specifically responsible for setting the overall technology vision, strategy and planning for the company's pharmaceuticals group. They will also be responsible for building close working relationships with business management to understand the core business, technology goals and systems requirements. They will lead the development and maintenance of the application, information and infrastructure strategies, and they will champion efforts for defining divisional technology architecture and standards while interfacing with other divisions and / or the corporate CIO.
