The Sales Engineer is a highly technical professional possessing in-depth knowledge of the storage industry as well as specialized knowledge of UNIX and NT file systems. The Sales Engineer must demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise on company storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in the DAS, NAS and SAN product spaces. The SE is a partner in the sales process, participates in the creation of sales strategy and tactics and takes ownership of technical responsibilities within customer accounts.
