The role is 50% data architect and 50% hands-on senior DBA providing production support. Act as the lead data architect supporting customer facing, commercial web apps. Establish rigor and controls (e.g. change control) around the database development process. Establish and drive best practice database processes. Design and implement database architecture-including strategies for partitions, failover (high availability), archiving, modeling, etc.
