Core job responsibilities include: Lead a team of test engineers, define and execute test strategy for a feature product or a product's component Work with Dev and PM organizations to guarantee overall quality of the owned areas, be a customer advocate in product planning and development Be responsible of professional and personal development of your team Driving improvements in product quality or processes across feature teams Own planning and implementation of the overall test automation strategy Drive changes in quality processes to continually improve effectiveness of quality work over time Develop test design specs for product features, or oversee the process Participate in design reviews Analyze customer and PSS feedback, bug trends and statistics, provide root cause analysis and risk analysis, provide recommendations for improvements Access and communicate release readiness of the owned areas Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a test lead for enterprise-scale applications; At least one full software development cycle completed from concept through delivery Minimum of 3 years of experience writing test automation Demonstrated technical leadership experience on at least one past project Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance processes and software development lifecycle A track of record of successful work within the project teams and across product groups Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent work experience Desired Knowledge/Skills: 3+ years programming experience, preferably including experience developing with C++ or C# Demonstrated working knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005, MS Analysis Services 2005 and MS SharePoint Server Experience with Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Refactoring, Iterative Planning and other Agile methods Boise, Idaho.
