Under the minimal direction of the Technical Services Manager, guides the efforts of other project team personnel, provides technical guidance, and assumes responsibility for achieving desired results. Directs project planning, organization, cost estimating and scheduling within the relevant Technical Services function. Performs technical consulting functions within MIS, evaluates hardware and software systems and develops appropriate documentation. Acts as a project supervisor in the discharge of duties and is competent to function as the Technical Services Manager if necessary. Competent to work at the highest technical level and uses expertise to complete the most advanced projects.
