Understand customer design requirements and develop with customers appropriate solutions to their design problems. Design high-speed CMOS processors and controllers including cache controllers, digital filter blocks, floating point and integer numeric units, and other high-speed data-path and control units. Implement designs in the Fast14 design flow including code entry, debug, and physical design. Use various in house and industry CAD tools to optimize gate placement, gate size, and block route for design components, and analyze layout correctness, and timing of resulting physical design.
