The position is part of a small team and interacts with multiple departments. Multi-tasking under multiple deadlines is not unusual. Responsibilities include negotiating workloads with mechanical engineering, acoustic engineering and electrical engineering. There will also be significant interaction with outside vendors for supplies and prototypes. Machining skills (lathe, milling) most definitely a plus.
