The ideal candidate will be able to handle day-to-day Unix administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Strong Unix experience, ideally on Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 4) and/or FreeBSD running Apache web servers. Experience with Java technologies (like JBoss and Tomcat) is also important. The candidate must work with a wide variety of teams to set up and troubleshoot DNS, VIPs, NFS shares (especially on NetApps), develop and maintain monitoring software and systems tied to near-real-time operational dashboards.
