A BS degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of detailed electrical design experience are required. This should include preparation of calculations for Rigid Bus Design, Direct Stroke Shielding Protection, Grounding Design, and AC/DC Auxiliary Power Systems Design for substation projects. Development of procurement specifications for equipment (e.g. transformers, circuit breakers, disconnect switches) and for construction labor.
