These chips are targeted at the next generation of video consumer electronics Blu-ray DVD player/recorders. The software includes disk navigation, file systems, I/O management, communications, and user interface. The development is done in C and C++ in an embedded Linux environment running on MIPS CPU cores. This team works closely with other SW, FW and chip teams as well as with third party developers and with customers.
