The Senior Systems Engineer's prime responsibility is to act as technical authority for the system and the criteria sets which underpin the system. The Senior Systems Engineer has an ongoing concern for technical quality and adherence to the contractual scope of the contract. Excellent internal and external communication and leadership skills are necessary in order to work closely with the customer, to obtain the support from other staff as needed, and to develop a strong, well-motivated project team.
