Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining large, complex UNIX servers, including Web and database servers in support of critical business processing requirements. Performs software installations and upgrades to UNIX operating systems and layered software packages. Schedules installations, upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IS policies, procedures and SLAs. Implements and monitors Information Assurance procedures. Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum level of performance.
