Lead engineering studies to introduce new technologies and advanced system concepts into future Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Department of Defense (DoD) networks, such as Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), Surveillance Broadcast System (SBS), Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS), and DoD Global Information Grid (GIG) systems. Guide trade studies and/or modeling and simulation activities.Take a technical leadership role in performing engineering studies to evaluate technical performance of key systems.
