The candidate should have at least fifteen years of experience in systems engineering, at least five of which as a Director of a small system engineering team that produced network, system, and product level requirements for customer premises and access network products. Experience in data networking systems is essential, and recent experience with Ethernet/IP, XDSL and/or customer premises gateways for data/voice/video services is highly desirable. Highly developed negotiation skills with partner companies, business people, and development teams are very important to the job.
