The responsibilities will be, but not limited to: Configuring Veritas volume manager, File systems and other products. TCP/IP Routing on Servers, NFS, DNS, Sendmail, NTP, NIS. SAN Storage configuration on Servers for EMC. Scripting (Korn shell, Perl). Performance monitoring and tuning of Servers. Configuration and implementation of Backup and Recovery using Veritas Netbackup. Server hardening and security benchmarking of Servers. Linux Kickstart and Solaris Jumpstart configuration and implementation.
