Under the direction of the VP Information Services the eCommerce Director is responsible for developing the eCommerce IS strategy and infrastructure platform working closely with the client areas and leading the eCommerce IS team. In this role the incumbent can expect to work closely with the Vice President of Advertising, Merchandising, and Marketing and the Vice President of Office Operations (Order to Cash) in defining strategies, road maps, project priorities, milestones, and requirements. The eCommerce Director will have both administrative and functional reports. Administratively, resources such as business analysts will report to the eCommerce Director. Functional reports will exist during the context of projects. These functional reports will include technical resources who may report to this position.
