As the Senior Designer for Global Brand Design at Converse, your role on the team will include making sure that the Converse brand comes to life in a compelling and unique way across all communications and marketing collateral. 
What we’re looking for: 

  • Creative visual skill set able to translate complex technical and business concepts into easy-to-understand communication pieces
  • Ability to concept and art direct photo shoots at the highest level
  • Manage and direct multiple agency relationships across multiple projects with a clear design voice and an unbending creative rigor 
  • Ability to socialize and present creative work to cross-functional partners and senior leadership teams
  • Ability to think and design with digital-first in mind and help craft and develop physical and digital content with our Gen-Z consumer in mind 
  • Excellent knowledge of photographers, stylists, artists and filmmakers 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • In collaboration with an Art Director or Design Director, develops and drives innovative solutions for 2d and 3d design including graphics and/or environments 
  • Works closely with Brand Marketing and Communications team to concept and execute seasonal global marketing campaigns for Converse 
  • Create “visual centers” that establish design foundation for specific segments of the business 
  • Develops an expertise against a specific Brand Driver, segment and/or business category 
  • Utilizes exceptional design skills and demonstrates innovation in creating original designs 
  • Communicates and presents design concepts; creates presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts 
  • Helps lead design efforts for assigned category and/or group; ensures feasibility of designs 
  • Be able to brief and collaborate with outside partners to execute campaigns and deliver campaign assets 
  • Demonstrates expert-level knowledge of current trends, color, technology and other design influencers
  • Shares knowledge, experience and skill with other design staff; works with design counterparts to ensure continuity across category lines/areas of focus 
  • May lead projects, establish direction and manage designers on a per project basis


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or design-related equivalent
  • 6+ years’ experience in digital design for large retaile-commerce or key digital agency experience specific to the streetwear footwear/apparel industry.
  • Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Excellent UI design and prototyping skill set using rapid prototyping tools e.g. Sketch, InVision or Adobe XD 

Additional Proficiencies:

  • Knowledge of photo processes and production – from studio to location, lifestyle to product
  • Deep connection to streetwear culture and trend
  • Experience in branding and logo identity for projects both large and small 
  • Ability to design concepts using both sketching techniques and illustration tools
  • Excellent writing and communications experiencepreferred
