Position Summary


This position is primary responsible for all sales origination, penetration, and market development within an assigned geography. 


Essential Job Functions:


  1. Achievement of revenue targets through managing team of assigned sales representatives
  2. Planning, assigning and directing work
  3. Review and analysis of credit worthiness of prospects and customers as determined by Donlen policies and procedures
  4. Traveling as necessary – requires commitment to meet prospects and customers timelines regardless of other duties that are required
  5. Interviewing and hiring process for new Sales personnel
  6. Training and support of assigned Sales Representatives
  7. Performance evaluations of Sales Team
  8. Growth of value added service programs
  9. Providing consultative advice (i.e. Annual and/or Quarterly Performance Reviews, Replacement Analysis, Best Value Analysis; Scorecards)
  10. Execution of Donlen initiatives as directed by Senior Management
  11. Maintaining data in company approved database as made available in an assigned geographic region
  12. Managing expenses

Mandatory Requirements

Education and Experience: 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university
  2. 5-years related management experiencepreferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

 Skills / Training:    

  1. Requirement of complex relational selling
  2. Excellent communication skills

Language Skills: 

  1. Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents 
  2. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and/or complaints
  3. Strong ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
  4. Ability to sell technology

Mathematical Skills: 

  1. Ability to develop complex financial analysis and solutions
  2. Proficiency in the use of PC based financial and mathematical software programs is a must to develop strategies

Reasoning Ability:

  1. Ability to applycommon sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  2. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  3. Ability to interact with direct reports, management, prospects and customers in written and oral form
  4. Independent, entrepreneurial mindset is a must
